Nine women artists, working through different modes of expression, share a vision in which creation is the force capable of generating, transforming, and caring for people and the natural habitat. Within this horizon, every creative gesture, every project, and every object introduced into the environment carries the responsibility of its maker, since what is produced becomes a testimony to the relationship between ethics, society, and life.

Architecture is thus called upon to embrace poetic, spiritual, and emotional experience, together with the ethical behaviors that guide every creative act and every construction of the artificial. Set in the Basilica Palladiana in Vicenza, in dialogue with the International Dedalo Minosse Prize for Architecture Clients, the exhibition Mater Materia, curated by Fortunato D’Amico and Rosa Cascone, understands sustainability as an extended practice involving the environment, culture, economy, and society, ultimately touching ethical and existential spheres.

The exhibition features works by Paola Greggio, Pina Inferrera, Marica Moro, Daniela Pellegrini, Antonella Quacchia, Silvia Rastelli, Ludovica Sitajolo, Chiara Vellini, and Giuditta Vettese.
