Who we are

Founded on July 3, 2024, by Alessandro Degnoni, Moebius aims to bring an innovative boost to the illustrated book publishing scene.

Its goal is not just to be a supplier or a simple publishing partner, but a point of reference for all issues related to technical aspects, timelines, promotional features of a publication, or the commercial aspects tied to museum bookstores—naturally connected to any volume on the visual arts, whether illustrated or nonfiction. Over a thousand catalogs and books form the foundation of the experience built over the years and now channeled into this new publishing project.

Editorial line

The main lines of the publishing house can be divided as follows:

- Exhibition catalogues. Major exhibition producers have already relied on Moebius to create their catalogues. Reliability, editorial care, and respect for deadlines are the pillars on which Moebius is founded, aware that the publishing sector presents unique specificities.

- Art. From major monographs to affordable editions, with the goal of addressing both a specialized audience and a general public, with a strong educational character.

- Photography. High-quality reproductions and editorial refinement are the foundation of this sector.

- Architecture and Design. The great challenge of presenting important monographs and specialist publications, creating a balance between big names and emerging proposals.

- Non-fiction. Rediscovering the great classics of art literature and engaging in the contemporary debate, embracing the entire sphere of visual arts. Rigor and scientific accuracy, but also accessibility.

Bookstore

Alongside its editorial line, Moebius has developed and already implemented several direct management initiatives for specialized bookstores. Whether temporary bookshops set up for exhibitions or permanent ones within museums, each bookstore must be adapted to its location and theme, presenting itself as a natural extension of the visitor's experience. These are specialized bookstores, but also spaces where visitors can find a variety of items—from affordable yet high-quality reproductions to unique, limited-edition objects. Moebius is involved in every stage: from the design of the space, to the selection of books and merchandising, from staff management to administrative oversight.

Cultural consultancy

Moebius ultimately aims to offer its partners a wealth of knowledge in the fields of cultural promotion, events, and exhibitions, making it a unique interlocutor capable of connecting public and private entities with the most qualified professionals able to meet the highest quality standards. Moebius is, above all, people. A true human capital placed at the service of its partners.
